In conjunction with Safe Work Australia, we are progressing towards formulating a precedent-setting Code of Practice. This crucial guide for Persons Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBUs) focuses on the strategic management of workplace fatigue hazards. This initial proposal for the Code of Practice is meticulously crafted and has come to fruition with the assistance of both Safe Work Australia Members and additional health and safety regulators.
As part of this process, we are making an open call for diverse perspectives on the draft. Input gathered from our public consultation will be instrumental in fine-tuning the model Code, ensuring maximum effectiveness and relevance. In the effort to uphold the highest standards in work safety products such as WHS management systems, SWMS, and policies, we firmly believe in creating comprehensive safety platforms such as the proposed Bluesafe WHS Management System.
Safe Work Australia cordially invites submissions from all parties with a vested interest in workplace safety, including duty holders, regulators, government agencies, unions, workers, legal professionals, researchers, and the broader public.
We would like to remind everyone that the closing time for responses is at 11:59pm on 27th November 2024. For more information or to provide feedback, please visit our Consultation Hub. Your support and insights can play an important role in shaping a safer future for workplaces across Australia.
The importance of tools like the Bluesafe SWMS cannot be overstated in this context, highlighting the utility and relevance of these resources in managing work safety regulations efficiently. Your expertise could contribute invaluable insights into refining and enhancing these critical mechanisms.
